GOAL for the SUMMER: Redesign The Shanty

I actually don't know where to start on this one. I have virtually no experience in web design, nor have I really begun to explore the available design features on blogspot. But I have a vision, the likes of which you haven't seen since...

...and I need a Mugatu.  Also, ideas and creative insight is welcomed and encouraged.  I thought we might start with a nice rug...


...and work The Shanty around that.  Any other thoughts?
