It was hard this year because I feel like 2011 was a year of good singles, not necessarily a year of good, cohesive start-to-finish albums. Meh... might just be me. Here's my list:

2. Alexander - (Self Titled)
3. Bon Iver - (Self Titled)
4. Tune-Yards - w h o k i l l
5. Joy Formidable - The Big Roar
I also am digging the new album from The Black Keys, but haven't had enough time with it to call it Top 5 material.

we should do a top singles of the year, too. I was thinking the same thing about albums when i tried thinking of my favorites
