No this is really just a shout out to Scooter's text the other day.  Alt-J ∆ is definitely worth the listen!  Sometimes, a band just f*#&*#* gets it, you know?

I hope everyone is well this holiday season.  I wish you all an A+ Christmas 2012.  (assuming we don't die tonight...  where you at, Harold Camping?!?)

Been out of a computer for a while. Finally got it fixed. How's everyone doing? Seems like things sure slowed down a bit here. What's up with that? I was hoping to have a list of new music. I do dig that field report though. Nice one! Anyway, hope all is well. Let's wake this place up eh?!

Field Report

Released their self-titled debut album earlier this September. Many Bon Iver fans may recall Justin Vernon's time with De Yarmond Edison. Along with several members from Megafuan, Vernon also played with Chris Porterfield. After the break up, Porterfield took his ball back home. His first post break-up project, Conrad Plymouth, didn't do so hot.

But after listening to this release, I think his future is looking a little brighter. My favorite is still the first track off the album, Fergus Falls. But the rest is pretty solid.

New Yeasayer

Good news! There is life after the "Ambling Alp" debacle. That song sucked, and the album was just "meh". This new one took a couple listens, but now I'm a fan again and looking forward to the new album. Second single off of Yeasayer's latest LP due out August 20th.
