It was hard this year because I feel like 2011 was a year of good singles, not necessarily a year of good, cohesive start-to-finish albums. Meh... might just be me. Here's my list:

Fleet Foxes-ish Side Project

60's pop throw back project of two of the dudes from Fleet Foxes. Nothing new, but decent. They are playing at "Slowdown Jr" on March 31st if anyone is interested.

Summer of Punishment

Here is the new album by the Milwaukee band, Sat. Nite Duets. It's great Pavement-y type 90's rock music. "Way Behind My Age Group" is the first single off the album.
